I just wanted to share a quick word about A-1Voice and Data to let everyone know that these guys do a fantastic job. We started our business in 1998 with A-1 by our side, after about 17 years, we had a large telecom company come to us and offer us the moon. Everything we needed in one package! Well, I made the mistake of “not staying at the dance with the ones’ who brought me”. After two years of one disaster after another, I had to make the call to Kim and ask for forgiveness. A-1 Voice & Data was contracted to help us put in a new phone system in our four facilities. We were changing to a fiber line with a new carrier and among other items regarding upgrading our phones. Kimberly Swain-Simmons and her team were absolutely instrumental in ensuring that we were kept informed throughout the entire project. Her attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively and the knowledge of the process of how our new carrier manages projects like ours gave us the confidence that the process would not be so painful. Our project turned out a bit challenging and required some thinking outside the box and problem solving. Kimberly became our eyes throughout the project and dealt with the technical aspects of the project with our provider. She was totally engaged in the emails and conference calls and looked at alternatives that were most beneficial for us. A-1 Voice and Data has been our phone and data vendor for approximately 15 years or more and we have had nothing but great service from all of their technicians, they are knowledgeable and great to work with. The office personnel has always been polite, friendly and courteous. They work to get you on the schedule as soon as possible. If you have an emergency they will move calls around to accommodate you and let the other clients know they are running late. When I started with Sellers Bros. almost 10 years ago, I was guarded with all of my vendors. I have learned that your company doesn’t over sell. When you tell me I need a phone system, I know you are not trying to make some sales goal for the month. I have one vendor that is constantly in “sell” mode. As large as they are, they have no concept of working with a small business I.T. department. A1 just seems to get it, and working with your people has always been easy. I highly recommend Kimberly Swain and her team at A1 Voice & Data. I have set up multiple offices and call centers in the last 20 years and no set up has gone as smooth as my last one in March of 2019 when our company contracted Kimberly and her team! Kim went above and beyond what is normally expected of a vendor. She personally negotiated with other vendors that were involved and with no personal interest at stake pointed out several key issues that were not properly explained to me from other major vendors that resulted not only in substantial savings but in more efficient services. There were several issues that they also helped to resolve that were outside of what the initial work order called for and although it was not their primary responsibility they took ownership to ensure I was satisfied.
